Growing Out Of ...

This is the first post to my BTS blog for my other blog hanzasshelves -- on that blog you can find reviews on shows, movies, and books that I have read and want to be able to talk about with you if you're interested. Here, however, I am going to be talking to something a little less structured.
It's something I have noticed, but haven't taken particular care of. To explain: when you're born, usually your 'newborn' size. However after a few months, because you've usually been nourished, your body is grown and you can no longer fit into the clothes you had. You get bigger pairs. Eventually, you get to a size after two decades where you don't really grow anymore maybe, but your style changes so you buy or get other clothes that fit that different image you have of yourself. Now without thinking about it, there are choices that you make and have changed to fit this new image you see in yourself, but I, at least, never stopped to think if all the choices that I was making on a daily, where fitting the current image I had of myself.
I sort of started to realise, because the way I was going through life, it sort of felt like one of those tops that don't flatter your figure. No matter what you tell your self, you never feel quite right in it. With this awareness though, I still didn't quite understand how I could change this, should I change it, how can I know what to change...
And then I made a dot point in my book, of one thing I can change. And over the next few weeks, it can snowball from there. But getting one and doing one each day, I think, should add to some life satisfaction. People I think sometimes do this in giant overhalls. They realise one day that their life doesn't suit them, and they make massive changes. When you just realise sort of that your life isn't quite fitting, you don't have to do the massive overhaul. Just start making some changes to what you want five years down the line. It will change probably in a few months, but I realised I was spending large amounts of time wasted because my choices were slowing me down. I sort of equated it to wearing a massive rashie that's been worn out, because when you try to swim in it, instead of it helping you and protecting you from the sun ectr. it just creates friction and balloons up with water and bogs you down, making you work harder and making you feel like your going nowhere.
So, from there, I put the question to you, to ask yourself if the choices in your life reflect your current image of yourself. Are there things you could be doing a little different, or just one thing? To really tailor the way you live, and help you feel a bit more satisfied.
